History
DMG sees the light at the end of the booming '50s as a small manufacturer of pushbuttons and locks.
In the mid '80s, DMG undergoes deep restructuring which enables the transformation from small local company to market leader: organization, innovative production system, investments in new machines and accurate selection of materials give way to the realization of new product lines.
After a deep restructuring, improved production system and accurate material selection give rise to new products like the B5 button: quality, modularity, and a broad product range become the benchmarks of the "new" DMG
B5, B6, B7 pushbuttons, the innovative BF frontal mounting pushbutton and "Gilda" plates are only some of the milestones of DMG production: quality, modularity and flexibility are key aspects of "new" DMG.
In 1994, DMG realizes "Magellano", industry's first software for fixture order management which allows customers to generate orders directly on their PCs and e-mail them to DMG.
Year 2000 inaugurates the era of pre-wired technology, integration and modularity: Pitagora, the complete electronic system especially designed for modernizations and the programmable emergency telephone Amigo synthesize these concepts.
DMG then introduces its multiplepurpose position indicator "MPI" and new lines of pushbuttons compliant to EN-81/70 norms. The quest for innovation and design continues…

In 2004 DMG introduced DMG FRANCE, a subsidiary company dedicated to selling DMG products and solutions in France.
DMG France is a partnership which takes advantage of local know how to deliver to French customers timely service and proper solutions.
DMG France is based in Paris, with show room and technical assistance, and Nice, with an assembling atelier for controllers dedicated to the French market.
MAD Elevator based in Toronto, Canada, is a partnership between DMG and Mainline Industries Corp., officially launched in January 2005.
MAD's mission is to become North American market leader for elevator fixtures through the creation of high quality solutions for new installations, modernizations and residential applications.
MAD recently completed the restructuring of its new headquarters in Toronto, which now includes a 2000 sqm production facility dedicated to elevator fixtures manufacturing and provided with the best machinery technology and industrial automation software.
Thanks to DMG technology and components and to a local skilled team of people, MAD rapidly spread its brand throughout North America, together with a host of innovative solutions targeted to American customers.
DMG inaugurates the 2008 opening of the new German branch DMG DEUTSCHLAND.
DMG DEUTSCHLAND was created in order to be closer, through a dedicated structure, to customers who desire technical and commercial assistance.
